The health sector in Zambia is facing a major human resources crisis, with shortages of health workers at
every service delivery level.
This "human resources crisis" is still in existence in the health sector in Zambia. To help rectify this situation by training people to work in the health sector, the Zambian School of Community Health Sciences (ZSCHS) was established in May 2013. Our vision is as follows:
Mission Statement
“To supplement the government in training health practitioners who spearhead preventive primary health care services in disadvantaged communities”
Vision Statement
“To be a model community based training institution producing practitioners with a community focus”
Value Statement
“Promotion of core values by committing ourselves to ensure Integrity; Accountability; Best practices; Hard work ; Team work; Objectivity; and Fairness”
